    July GRPA

Have a look below, and if you’d like to join us for any of these sessions, please select a game in which you’d like to participate and either call or write us back with your name and selection. All games are free and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and you’ll be responded to immediately with your status in the game.

    GRPA – Monday, July 27th 6-11pm

    Game #1 – Malleus
    Dark Heresy (Warhammer 40K)
    4-6 Players

    GM – Edwin Seigel

    You are a member of the Emperor’s Most Hallowed Inquisition. In the course of your career, you have hunted down warpspawn, psykers, and Daemons. You are one amongst countless thousands, rooting out the taint of warpcraft in all of its many forms. When an Imperial Shrine is destroyed during the course of an investigation on the pleasure world of Reth, you and your team of acolytes are thrust into a world of intrigue, accusation, and fear. All but cut off from your Inquisitor and left entirely to your own devices, you must investigate the bombing, flush out the attackers, all while getting to the bottom of the mysterious incidences of warp-craft and psychic events that brought you to Reth in the first place.

    This is a mid-level, investigative adventure. Roleplaying and thematic elements will be emphasized, though combat will probably become more central as the adventure progresses.

    Game #2 – The Gray City
    Homebrew System

    4-6 Players
    GM – Dale Horstman

    The Gray City is ancient. It stood before The Storm, hundreds of years ago, when the world changed. Since that time, The Community has withstood the dangers that have surrounded and threatened it. The Grey Men at the bridges padding on their four silent feet, the Simians in the Tower Jungle, and countless unknown horrors that move through the remnants of steel and stone. Tonight, one of their own has been taken. From the Tenements a young girl has gone missing. A few stalwart souls step-up to brave the outside and return her home. Few know – or want to know – what they may stand against.

    Take up your strange magicks, hardened steel, potions, talismans; oil your difference engines – the unknown awaits!

    Game #3 – The Purging
    Dark Heresy (Warhammer 40K)

    4-6 Players
    GM – Walter Wrigglesworth

    You have been called. Your Inquisitor has dispatched his angelae, his acolytes, his trusted servants. You are one of these acolytes. You must do your duty to him, to Terra, and to the Emperor, hunting down and stamping out a heretical cult that has infected even the highest levels of the ecclesiarchy. The Imperial Church, one of the most important institutions in the Imperium of Mankind, has been compromised, and you must find out why. Assaulted on every side and hunting a cell whose power is only exceeded by its cunning, you must bring the heretics to justice – by any means necessary. You shall go forth, armored in faith and ceramite, and purge this cell with faith, with fire, with any and all tools at your disposal.

    This is a middle-of-the-road level module. The party is taking on the role of experienced inquisitorial agents, and you will be investigating the rumors of a heretical cult permeating the Imperial Church. Combat is not a central focus of this game, instead stressing the “Grim Dark” of the 40K universe through roleplaying. However, the climax of the adventure will most likely involve a grand and terrible battle. This is Walter Wrigglesworth’s last game as a GRPA game master, so if you have enjoyed playing with him, come out for his last ride as a GM.
