    What’s GRPA? Find out here!

    GRPA – Monday, August 31st 6-11pm

Game #1 – Slave Pits of Absalom
    Pathfinder

    4-6 Players
    GM – Nick Lundback

Someone has kidnapped Lady Anilah Salhar – the Chelish wife of Dremdhet Salhar, one of Osirion’s many Grand Ambassadors to Absalom – and has sold her into slavery! With Salhar holding delve permits over the heads of the Decemvirute, the Pathfinders are sent to assist the Osirian Ambassador. Venturing into Absalom’s darkest corners to save Lady Anilah, the Pathfinders must face the secrets of the Slave Pits to avoid becoming slaves themselves.

This is a 1st Level Adventure that will help to introduce not only the New Pathfinder RPG Rules but also the Pathfinder Society Organized Play Method.

Game #2 – The End and the Beginning
    Battlestar Galactica (Cortex)
    4 Players
    GM – Darren Layne

We thought the war was long over. We thought they were distant memories of an older generation, horror stories of conflict told to us by our fathers and our fathers’ fathers. When the world exploded, when the skies turned red with radiation and in came the destruction of the life to which we were accustomed, we knew exactly what had happened. They had come back. But we didn’t know why. We still don’t. All we’re sure of is that we have to leave our world, our beloved Caprica. Like the Scrolls denote, we shall now undertake a great Exodus like our progenitors before us. We perhaps have one shot at getting away now, and it’s all resting on the military. We were lucky enough to have this job, this contract with our fearless soldiers, to get the experimental Griffon X7 up and flying. If we can get to the launch facility alive, we might be able to extract the launch codes and rendezvous with what’s left of the Colonial Fleet. But the path across the ruins of Caprica City are strewn with the bodies of our citizens…and them. All of this has happened before…

Back by popular interest, this is a beginning-level adventure intended to introduce the simple mechanics of the Cortex System as implemented in the rebooted BSG universe. Since the events in this session happen before any secrets are revealed in the television show, there will be no need to worry about spoilers or leaked information. But seriously, if you haven’t finished out the series already, what are you waiting for?

Game #3 – The Fair Goes Foul
    Pathfinder
    4-6 Players
    GM – Arnold Stellema

Ah, Brindenford! Situated along the Brinding river, this town hosts an annual street fair that is the highlight of the year. Nearly ten percent of the population of Brindenford is halfling, and when the travelling troupes arrive it seems like every other person in town is a halfling. That many halflings gathered in one place cannot help but mean a joyous celebration, and this street fair is the best of all possible worlds. Booths will line the sides of Eastgate way offering all variety of trinkets and treasures. Food, drink and entertainment await as you make your way toward the city. It’s about time, too! Sure, the adventurer’s life is packed with excitement…but don’t you deserve a chance to enjoy the good life? And what of the traveler you encountered on the road who spoke of strange magical energies within the walls? Who cares? Probably a nutcase; spring always seems to bring out the crazy people. This is going to be a great week…
