    What’s GRPA? Find out here!

    GRPA – Monday, March 29th 6-11pm

    Game #1 – The Peregrine’s Voyage Home
    Diaspora Variant (FATE System)

    4-5 Players
    GM – Dale Horstman

Sergeant Hammish looked at the small silver chest with suspicion. He had heard that the war was not going well for The Kingdom; those infernal metal clad ships of The Empire were cutting through the Royal Air Force like so much kindling. At least that’s what he had heard – he was a Sergeant after all and not privy to the Admiralty’s strategies & plans – and this small box, barely wider than his forearm, was supposed to contain some sort of super-weapon that would turn the tide? He continued to hesitate and could hear the First‘s distant calls for response from the skiff moored at the opening far above him. The climb down had been treacherous,  and he knew the climb back up would be worse. “The Lightning Egg”, they had called it. An oblong body whose surface seemed to dance with lightning. It had taken them hours flying around the thing to find the crawl space that lead down here.

Was this little chest really worth a trip through the Mirror, risking life and limb for everyone onboard the Peregrine? He wished he was back in the warm fire’s glow at the Clancy with a good ale in his hand, but he was here as far away from home and family as he would ever have hoped to be. He touched the cool metal surface. He fully expected that all hell would break loose as soon as he picked it up off of its pedestal. He grabbed it and swung it up under one arm and started climbing as fast as he could. The sudden shuddering and noise that had erupted all around him was certainly not a reassuring sign…

    Game #2 – Droskar’s Folly (Chapter 1, Page 4)
    Pathfinder
    4-5 Players
    GM – Nick Lundback

Having presented the Angelic Scrolls to their patron, the Group learns that a set of Dwarven Ruins located near the mountain of Droskar’s Crag may contain the next piece in the puzzle of Lukaz’s Chronicle. After a bit of rest and further information from the populace of Kassen, the party now heads north through the Fangwood to find their next target with help from a newly arrived friend…

This 1st-level adventure continues the GRPA/ORPG ongoing Pathfinder campaign that will see a cast of characters develop their own story through the manipulations of different players. As they progress, the plot of the story will be player-driven, though the same players may not be present each time. Through twists and turns, we will see the characters develop their skills and abilities while they explore the wide world of Golarion…

(If you wish to play in this game, please take a moment to Rread the GRPA /ORPG Patfinder Campaign Chronicle located in the “GRPA” Forum of the Gamescape North website. This chronicle tells the tale of our group and will provide you with the background information to understand the characters and the story.)

    Game #3 – Dimension Y
    Trail of Cthulhu (FATE System)

    4-6 Players
    GM – Ryan Kent

A scientific experiment yields the promise of a glimpse into an adjoining reality, a repository of Man’s dreams and memories. But when the investigators peer through this window…they find cosmic horror peering back at them! Dimension Y sees the characters dealing with the aftermath of experiments in the Ether that go awry, and in particular the threat it poses to their own ability to perceive dimensional reality. This investigation is a “Ticking Clock Scenario” where every misspent hour threatens to unravel the investigators’ sanity further. Since twisted nightmares come with every night’s sleep, investigators will be pushed to their limits, striving to avoid sleep, and trying to press on to learn how to bring a stop to the madness and murder that emanates from Dimension-Y.
