Star Wars Armada: Massing at Sullust

    September 29, 2015

We’re super-excited to announce our participation in Fantasy Flight’s Star Wars Armada: The Massing at Sullust on Saturday, October 3rd. If you haven’t yet checked out one of the best strategy miniatures games to come out in recent years, now’s a perfect time. The second wave of expansion ships will be out in the last quarter of 2015, but our Massing at Sullust event gives participants a chance to win a preview ship from that release, weeks ahead of time!

More details about the event can be found on the Massing at Sullust Announcement on FFG’s website. In the meantime, we’ll be taking sign-ups for the tournament via phone, email, or in-person. Read up on the tournament rules, which can be downloaded here. Each player will need to bring a 300-point fleet with no more than 100 points spent on Squadrons. Please bring two copies of your fleet list (one for the GM and one for your opponents) to the event. Entry will be $25 per player. There will be three rounds of play until the championship round, wherein the top two players will build new lists using the new Wave II ships. Please pay special attention to the Massing at Sullust announcement as there are specific rules for the championship fleet-building round. The top four players get to take home one of the Wave II expansions before they’re released to the general public!

Armada is an epic two-player game of tactical fleet battles in the Star Wars universe. Massive Star Destroyers fly to battle against Rebel corvettes and frigates. Banks of turbolasers unleash torrential volleys of fire against squadrons of X-wing and TIEs. As Rebel and Imperial fleets collide, it is your job to issue the commands that will decide the course of battle and, ultimately, the fate of the galaxy.
