    LitQuake San Rafael 2015

    We’re really happy to be hosting some fabulous authors at the store in support of this year’s LitQuake program in San Rafael. You might know that LitQuake is a multi-city event which seeks to foster interest in literature for people of all ages. Our little town is going to have a whole bunch of talented and creative writers featured at venues up and down Fourth Street and beyond, and this Sunday, October 11th we’ll be hosting the following authors in our store:

    New On the Edge
    3-4:15pm

    Peter Fugazzotto is a writer of fantasy and science fiction. His short stories have been published in Heroic Fantasy Quarterly and Grimdark Magazine. The Hounds of North series was launched with The Witch of the Sands in 2014.

    Loren Rhoads is author of the In the Wake of the Templars trilogy, published this year: The Dangerous Type, Kill by Numbers, and No More Heroes. She is also author of Wish You Were Here: Adventures in Cemetery Travel and editor of The Haunted Mansion Project, Year Two.

    Sumiko Saulson is author of three science-fiction/horror novels, Solitude, Warmth, and The Moon Cried Blood, and the short story collection Things That Go Bump In My Head.

    Kaleidoscope Coffee, Point Richmond presents: Beyond Happily Ever After
    6-7:15pm

    Storyteller Cassandra Cushing brings to life traditional stories for adult and young adult audiences. She finds the personal in the traditional and creates unique retellings for the contemporary audience.

    Playwright, actor, and storyteller Tim Ereneta connects ancient stories to modern-day life, sharing classic and forgotten fairy tales with audiences of all ages. He has performed in theaters, art museums, camps, churches, and nightclubs, from Washington, DC, to Chennai, India.

    Both programs are FREE for all to join. We’ll have plenty of seats in the back of the store, and this is a GREAT chance to meet some top-notch authors and hear a few stories, besides…
